How Service Works
We do things a little different at The Blue Duck
One of the things you’ll notice immediately when you visit The Blue Duck is our service style - a blend of counter service ordering and full service dining that’s becoming known as “continuous service.” What began as a pandemic era necessity has evolved into a new way to welcome and serve our community.
The process is pretty straightforward and simple - start your order at the front counter, then find a table and let us take it from there! Our team will provide service as if you’re at a “normal” sit-down restaurant, bringing your drinks and food, getting your refills or extra condiments, and closing your check when you’re ready to leave.
We understand it may seem different or unusual to some, but we encourage you to give it a shot. The future of restaurant service is changing. And while it may not look exactly like what we’re doing at The Blue Duck, it may be a bird of just slightly different feathers.
